Laser Argon y Yag
This technology allows the treatment of various eye diseases.
Argon is a thermal laser that allows coagulation and denaturation of cellular components, being used more frequently in diseases that affect the retinal circulation that produce ischemia and the consequent production of new vessels that produce sequelae that are difficult to manage (vascular occlusions, diabetic retinopathy, macro-aneurysms retinal, etc.)
It is also used in the treatment of sealing holes in the retina, photocoagulation of the trabecular meshwork, iris, ciliary body and in the treatment of glaucoma.
Another type of laser is the YAG laser, which performs photodisruption procedures (controlled ruptures) to perforate posterior capsules after cataract surgery (capsular opacity) and perform iris procedures.
